Twitter Fail: Michelle Obama tweets her account updates will be limited due to #Shutdown; Twitter Responses are Priceless!
First lady Michelle Obama tweeted on Tuesday afternoon that her Twitter account will see fewer updates due to the government shutdown. In 2009, FactCheck.org found that the first lady had a staff of 24 people. It is unclear whether any of the first lady’s staff have been furloughed as a result of the government shutdown.
It looks like the Obama’s will do everything in their power to make the government shutdown hurt as much as possible. Tersely worded public closure signs, snidely dismissing tweets from FLOTUS, the phony stern standing ‘on the law’. We will like Obamacare, or less.
Due to Congress’s failure to pass legislation to fund the government, updates to this account will be limited. #Shutdown

Here are a few of the responses from the masses:
@FLOTUS thought we would never shut you up!

Some of them got really good:
@FLOTUS …good excuse not to talk to the people your highness…
— citizen (@josephc1952) October 1, 2013
@FLOTUS P.S it is Congress' not Congress's

As you can see a lot of the responders were actually smarter than the FLOTUS because they understood the difference between personal tweeting and “Paying” someone to tweet:

@FLOTUS That tweet was beyond pitiful. Don't you have a garden to tend or children to starve?
— ★♥ Harriet Baldwin (@HarrietBaldwin) October 1, 2013
@FLOTUS why are we paying someone to tweet your garbage to us?
— Mr E™ (@stockdemons) October 1, 2013
@FLOTUS Who cares? Only morons read your tweets or believe your lies. Why do you and Barack hate America so much?
